What is the difference between Oracle and Tarot cards?

Most Tarot decks follow a set structure and order of archetypes: 78 cards, 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana cards depicting the same archetypes in the same order (there are a few exceptions of course). However, each tarot deck's unique flavor, vibe, artistic perspective and images may vary greatly! The most traditional and standard deck for learning Tarot is the Rider-Waite.

Oracle decks can be any archetypes, messages and images the author wishes to convey, and usually do not follow the same order and structure as tarot decks. 

Both Tarot & Oracle can be used in the same way and for the same purposes. Choose a deck you love and method that resonates with you! Have fun exploring, there is no right or wrong way to work with the cards!
