Apache Tears are a form of Black Obsidian. APACHE TEARS LEGEND: Legend has it that when Apache warriors were attacked and outnumbered, those warriors who survived the initial ambush leapt over the edge of a nearby cliff rather than allow themselves to be killed by the white man. The Apache women mourned so deeply for their loss that Creator transformed their tears into black stones which bring luck to anyone who carries them. It is said that anyone with Apache Tears will not have to cry anymore as the tears of the Apache women have been shed in their place (source: FirstPeople.us).
